What are the boats made out of

Material

The GoBoat 2.0 is made from our Ruggedite composite drop-stitch material. It is extremely rigid, tough, and lightweight. The 2.0 comes with a saltwater-ready 35 lbs thrust trolling motor with 5 speeds forward and 3 reverse.

Puncture Resistent

The GoBoat tube is made of very dense PVC construction. While it is an inflatable, it's not puncture-proof, but punctures are very rare. In case of a puncture, a patch kit is provided with every GoBoat.

Maintenance and Instructions

Product Maintenance Instructions & Usage Tips: Sun, sand, and saltwater will degrade any man-made material over time. Rinse off sand and saltwater from your GoBoat with fresh water, then wash with soapy water and store in a cool, dry environment after each use.

Allow carry handles to dry completely prior to storing for a prolonged period. Keep the GoBoat clear of any heat-producing items such as camp stoves, gas lamps, car trunks under direct sunlight, open flames, etc., to prevent glue failure.

Damages resulting from heat are not covered by warranty.

ABOUT TRANSPORTING YOUR GOBOAT:  IMPORTANT!

Do not transport your GoBoat while inflated. Your GoBoat is designed to be compact for convenient storage and travel. Never transport an inflated GoBoat on top of a vehicle. Due to the lack of weight when inflated, the GoBoat will travel poorly if strapped to the roof of a moving vehicle. Damages or warping incurred by improper transport are not covered by warranty. When transporting the GoBoat, be sure to avoid sharp objects. Punctures are not covered by warranty.

RECOMMENDED GoBoat PRESSURE: 12~15 PSI Avoid over-inflation to prevent glue cracking at seams due to excessive pressure. GoBoats are made from double layer drop stitch material can hold up to 12-15 PSI. The GoBoat will remain rigid at this PSI and no benefit is gained by inflating further. If the GoBoat is inflated and then placed in direct sunlight, the heat will increase the pressure, causing potential over-inflation and damage to the GoBoat seams. This damage is not covered by warranty. Do not inflate newly received or long-term folded inflatable products directly in low-temperature environments, as this may cause the material to crack due to prolonged cold and folding pressure. It is recommended to let the product warm up in a warmer environment before inflation.

STORAGE:

Folding Time Control - If the product must be stored in a cardboard box, we recommend unrolling it every 6 months to relax the material and reduce pressure on folded areas. Even when stored in a box, avoid folding the product in half; instead, roll it up gently to prevent creases and cracks. Do not stack heavy objects on top of it.

Storage Environment - Store products in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated area. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, extreme heat, or freezing temperatures, as PVC materials are sensitive to drastic temperature changes. Additionally, the glue used during production may lose its effectiveness when exposed to extremely high temperatures. It’s recommended to store between 32°F to 110°F. Regular Inspection - After long-term storage, regularly inspect glued areas. Repair any peeling or bulging immediately to prevent further damage. Apply soapy water to the surface of the product. Inflate the product and observe for bubbles, which indicate leaks. Use the provided repair kit to fix any identified leaks. For more detailed repair instructions, please refer to the last page. Partially deflate for Long-Term Storage:

Release some air to reduce tension on seams during extended storage. It’s recommended to deflate it to around 5 PSI when storing the product with air inside.

Warranty Policy - Warranty Terms & Conditions: This warranty is only valid to the original purchaser through www.GoBoat.com or if bought directly from a GoBoat approved dealer or distributor. The warranty provides 2 years of seam-to-seam protection.

This warranty does not cover the following claim conditions:

Damage or defects caused by impact with any materials or objects (including ramps and sliders). Damage or defects caused by collisions, abuse, misuse, or accidental damage. Damage or defects caused by inappropriate transport, loading, unloading, dropping, or out-of-water handling. Damage or defects caused by non-recreational use. Damage or defects caused by inappropriate storage or handling. Damage or defects caused by inappropriate storage in temperatures over 110°F and under 32°F. Damage or defects caused by natural events such as floods, earthquakes, fires, etc. Damage or defects caused by alterations or modifications, including the use of a larger fin, motor, or non-GoBoat regulated seat. Damage or defects caused by inappropriate repairs. Damage or defects caused by the usage of the GoBoat after a claim is reported. Damage or defects caused by improper mounting or adjustment of bindings or foot straps. Any damage except for manufacturing defects in material or workmanship. Damage or defects caused by the storage of the GoBoat in closed, damp conditions (e.g., a wet board bag). Damage or defects caused by overheating and/or exposure to direct sunlight while not in use.

Regarding non-customized products, if serious defects are found that affect the product’s function and sale ability, GoBoat Headquarters will replace the product with a new one from their warehouse ASAP to the buyer. The replacement’s design and brand will be random, but the function and performance must be consistent with the board purchased.

If there is no inventory in GoBoat's warehouse, the buyer needs to wait for the warehouse to replenish the inventory before making compensation or wait for the replacement from the next order from China.

INFLATABLE PRODUCTS REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS:

The valve wrench included with this GoBoat is for maintenance ONLY. After many seasons of use, you may notice that the valve(s) on your main chamber(s) have loosened slightly, resulting in slow air leakage. The included valve wrench is designed to help you re-tighten these valves. ⚠DO NOT attempt to loosen, remove, or service the valve while the GoBoat is inflated, as this could cause damage and SERIOUS INJURY! If your GoBoat requires more extensive repairs, please contact our Customer Service team for assistance.

How to Repair Small Openings, Holes, or Cuts:

Cut a PVC patch to size (approximately 1/4" to 1/2" larger than the hole or damaged area). Carefully clean the area where the patch will be placed using water, mild soap, or acetone. Ensure al surfaces are completely dry before proceeding. Use tape to mark the area where the glue will be applied to prevent the surrounding area from getting dirty. In a well-ventilated area, spread a thin layer of glue on both the PVC patch and the damaged area. Allow the glue to sit for 5 to 10 minutes until it is tacky, then apply the PVC patch.

For small pinholes, you can simply apply a drop of glue and let it dry completely. Use a household hairdryer to gently heat the PVC for 3-5 seconds (do not overheat). This will soften the material. Press the PVC patch tightly with your hands or a spatula for about 3 minutes before releasing it. Once the repair is complete, store the GoBoat indoors in a dry environment. Do not inflate it for 24 hours to allow the glue to cure fully.

For adhesive, we recommend using PVC glue. Each repair kit also includes a glue tube for your convenience.

Since the GoBoat is a motorized watercraft, it may need to be registered in your state.

You will need to check your local boating regulations if you plan on using it on a lake or other state body of water.

To apply for your MSO. Simply locate your HIN on your boat. On the 2.0s the HIN is located either where the fin goes on the bottom of your boat or it is printed on the back of your boat just below the black handle on the inflatable itself. On the 1.0 the HIN is just below the seat.
